Cookie Policy

This site uses cookies, small text files placed on your device. Apart from the essentials, we only use them if you say yes.

When you first visit, we ask whether you’re happy for us to use optional cookies. Analytics and marketing cookies are switched off until you choose to allow them, and you can change your mind at any time.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. We refer to all of these as cookies in this policy.

Essential

These are needed for the site to work and can’t be switched off.

  • mg_consent (local storage, 12 months): remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask on every page. It does not identify you.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (contact page only): a security check that stops automated spam getting through our contact form. Cloudflare looks at signals from your browser to confirm you’re a real person. It is not used for advertising or to track you across other sites.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people find us. This helps us improve the site. The information is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you.

  • _ga (2 years): distinguishes unique visitors.
  • _ga_* (2 years): keeps track of your visit (session) on this site.

We use these to measure whether our advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google leads to enquiries, so we spend our budget sensibly.

  • _fbp (3 months): set by Meta to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • _fbc (3 months): set by Meta when you arrive from one of our ads.
  • _gcl_* (3 months): set by Google to measure the results of our Google ads.

Meta and Google may also process information under their own privacy policies.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or the button above. If you withdraw consent, we remove the analytics or marketing cookies we set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To find out more, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
